Applying for a divorce

We now have only ‘no fault’ divorce and it’s easy make your own application online, you don’t need to pay a solicitor £500-£1500 to do this for you, or even to use an on-line service.

Just download a divorce application form D8 from the government website and follow the instructions to fill it in. You know your own personal details better than any solicitor, and are less likely to make a mistake.
